Dr. Matt Finney is a 2018 graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He did his first 2 and 1/2 years of school at Ross University and finished up his clinical year at Oklahoma State University. He received his associate’s degree in animal science from Northern Oklahoma College and finished his bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas. His interests include herd health, equine medicine/dentistry, ruminant obstetrics and surgery.
Dr. Finney grew up on a small farm in Garfield, Arkansas. Growing up, he spent most of his free time playing sports and hunting. In his spare time, Dr. Finney is an avid hunter and fisherman. He and his fiancé, who is also a veterinarian, enjoy taking their two dogs, Neala and Gunner, on hikes and trips to the lake. On the weekend, you will most likely find him at his parent’s farm checking on his cattle and spot spraying weeds. His dream is to one day run cattle on his own farm.
